Under Age Drinking Statistics Teens And Drinking?

Teens and Drinking? - under age drinking statistics

I spoke with my husband on this issue the other day and wondered what other people think. We spent our youth in Germany. Here, the legal drinking age of sixteen years (in fact, if they could drink the bar could see). The driving age law is eighteen years old. I think it's a great idea would be good for America. I know that if you are legally able to do drink, go to bars and to live a "party" lifestyle during their young age - used on your system, so if they can manage the effects of alcohol and does not attempt are under the influence of drive - less and DUI SIPS means. Moreover, as I said, taking the whole party "lifestyle of you - so that when they think will reach the age of eighteen and not interested in participating in such acts. As parents, it is a good idea. Do you think if we give our children more freedom with a result of alcohol among adults less scandalous and significantly reduce the statistics of DUI, what do you think about the topic of drinking and young people? Asauthorize or - why youth with half of your vehicles before they are able to drink?

United States has some strange priorities. We drink the law that is more fun to go and it is not illegal. Then angry when they are drunk driving, the car caused by your accident and someone died. I agree that if children were legally allowed to drink earlier, tired and can not develop a healthy attitude, until they are adults. It is true that some children may develop problems with alcohol, but drinking with a dependent personality, are allowed to. I think it would be less and SIPS DUI, if parents teach their children better. How often do you see a teenager driving his father after a drink or two? It's a bit like an adult, so you do not always observe that he is thinking of our children.

Not teenagers, but adults who receive the majority of the DUI / DWI; adults kill ordinary people who have obviously learned nothing and continues to attend many events. I think it's easier to get realistic with our children and the driver, then perhaps we will catch up with the idea that they need a DD, even better, show them that a vehicle has been used and destroyed by a drunk driver and brings They killed the police and obtain statistics on driving under the influence of alcohol and. Young people should have the same time as killing with alcohol because they are learning in three points of roads, etc., in turn,

"Why do young people with a half-ton train before they are able to drink?
We do not mix the two!

Furthermore, I am not a good person to answer this question. By personal choice, I had 22 years before taking a sip.

i dont think so I like the idea, but I think the number must pparenting DONT give informed the parents about good and evil and tired of the blame for what may be to blame. and until the parents teach children not to blame and not others believe that changing the age and contract work. Young children are like theses day and I do not know how to be responsible

I think it's a fantastic concept, and would be willing to ask.

I can only imagine that there are many parents who blows the idea that his 17 years driving where they should go.

I can also imagine that a lot of friends would make the young age of 18 years, just had a friend who manages.

I think, drink together, because everyone is stupid. It's pointless. Fixed it. I think there are better ways to spend very much time to kill brain cells with alcohol (I'm 13)

The adolescent brain is not yet done more and brain cells are destroyed before they reach maturity. I think the laws in this country is a problem. If someone can be arrested several times for drunk driving and pay fines to get out, and yet in a position to drive the next day is a big problem. Until law is applied, remains a problem. The answer is that it should not be permitted before 21 Drinking age to be. There would be minor in statistics.

Young people drink anyway, but very little to drink at 16, and then he has more singing from the system drive for the parties, and of course their parents would not get them ... So yes, I think it's a good idea

I think it's a great idea, the children's knowledge before the key. Drinking should be conducted only with adults, although as someone to watch them.

Good luck and God bless!

Most people who grow up here do not understand why I did not. I grew up in Germany. I understand very well, and that's how I thought the legal age to drink driving here, and age. They must, however, the Germans also resposiblity. You need to know, know they want to do in his career at the age of 12-14 years and left school to work as an adult at the age of 16. Children here in the states are responsible for himself, until at the age of 26 years. Big difference!

Your question reflects precisely what is wrong in thinking in the world today.

Do not drink a teenage couple wanted to "at risk, or because it is illegal", nor the need "from your system." A teenage couple with the effects of alcohol before you try anything, and he is too intelligent to be caught in the lifestyle of the party. After driving under the influence of alcohol is not a problem at any age.

What would be a different world if all were well-educated older parents and children!

Our culture is not that children of alcohol, making them very little knowledge of what is it.When the last time you have a bottle of wine at a dinner in a house, have the United States?, We take distance. From there on out later access if they are forced to learn the effects of themselves.Alcohol, is part of our culture, we bring them clean it, but not something that must change their lives and those of others may permanently. We answer, but it was honest w / societal norms that I am at a loss,
